Justin Sun’s Lunch With Warren Buffett Has Been Postponed

24 Jul 2019

According to a recent report, the highly anticipated Warren Buffett Lunch and press conferences have been postponed. The reason behind postponing the launch is as a result of the man of the hour getting diagnosed with a kidney stone.

Justin Sun is Sick

Justin Sun, the CEO of the Tron Foundation, who won the highly coveted Warren Buffett Lunch has been diagnosed with Kidney stones. As a result of this, all parties involved in the dinner has agreed to this shift.

Highest Bid Ever Recorded

The news of Justin Sun winning the launch at the accompanying charity auction on eBay to have launch with the world-renowned famous businessman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. Sun won the bid with a whopping $4,567,888. This is reportedly the highest bid ever recorded in the event’s 20-year history.

This win was followed by a major backlash from the crypto community. The backlash was centred on the fact that the money used in winning the launch could have been used to develop the Tron network and improve the crypto space.

Since winning the lunch ticket, Justin Sun has invited several key people in the crypto industry to take part. Some of the key people he invited has declined the offer while some have announced their interest in sitting with him.

Litecoin creator Charlie Lee is one of those who agreed to join him in the launch. Last week, the CEO of Circle, Jeremy Allaire also accepted Sun’s invitation to join him at the lunch. In addition to these two, the CEO of eToro also announced his acceptance of the invitation to join the launch.

Warren Buffett is a well-known naysayer when it comes to anything crypto-related, especially bitcoin. The billionaire once said that cryptocurrencies will end badly, and called Bitcoin “probably rat poison squared.
Even recently, the businessman, referred to Bitcoin (BTC) has a delusion, maybe because blockchain does not depend on BTC or actively produce something.

“You can stare at it all day, and no little Bitcoins come out or anything like that. It’s a delusion, basically.” Warren said
