The Stellar Foundation’s Current CEO is Now its Chief Architect
The news of her appointment was made known via a recent press release put out by the foundation.
The press release revealed that the foundation’s current executive director and co-founder of the foundation, Jed McCaleb, is now in charge of the network protocol and adoption strategy. He will henceforth be addressed as the Chief Architect of the company.

Her experience leading operations, business and her work on policy at Mozilla will also be an added advantage to the crypto project.

Other products of the non-profit company inlcude: SeaMonkey internet suite and the Mozilla Thunderbird email client. All these products are developed and managed by the global community of open-source developers, some of whom the company employed.
Blockchain Firms Hiring Executives From Within and Outside the Industry
Recently, several blockchain based organisations have been hiring experts who have made a name for themselves outside the blockchain “centralised”. Just last months, a report made it known that a former Goldman Sachs executive, Marco Lim is now the new managing partner at Hong Kong-based blockchain and cryptocurrency-focused hedge fund MaiCapital.
Similarly, Bridgewater Associates chief operating officer, Thomas Kim, was appointed by New York-based fintech company TrueDigital Holdings as its CEO.
There has also been reporting of blockchain based company hiring executives from another one. A case in point is that of blockchain protocol research and development company CasperLabs which recently appointed Ethereum Foundation researcher Vlad Zamfir as lead consensus protocol architect.
